Kia J. Bentley, Ph.D., professor in the VCU School of Social Work, has been appointed as chair of the Commission on Research.
The Commission on Research is the focal point for education research in the Council on Social Work Education. The Commissions provides leadership for developing policy positions and promote social work education-based research that is carried out by CSWE and its constituent programs.
